Below MSRP is a new-car marketplace where buyers configure the vehicle they want and name the price they are willing to pay. Participating franchised dealerships can respond to those requests and choose which opportunities to pursue.

About the Role

\n

We’re looking for a sales representative to contact dealerships when a buyer submits a request in their area. You’ll introduce the opportunity and guide interested dealers through signing up and purchasing their first lead.

\n

\n

The conversation starts with a specific buyer request, not a generic software pitch. You’ll reach out to dealers with vehicles similar to what the buyer is looking for. Your job is to explain the opportunity and make getting started straightforward. Dealers decide which leads they want to purchase.

This is a hands-on sales role, not a management position. You’ll be selling to dealerships rather than selling vehicles to consumers.

What You'll Do

• Contact relevant dealerships. Reach out to franchised dealers with inventory that aligns with buyer requests in their area. Connect with dealership sales leadership or the appropriate decision-maker.

• Present the buyer opportunity. Explain the requested vehicle and the buyer’s proposed price. Answer questions about Below MSRP and help the dealer determine whether the lead fits their business.

• Guide signup and lead purchases. Help interested dealers create an account and navigate the platform. Explain applicable pricing and terms before walking them through their first lead purchase.

• Manage follow-up. Keep accurate records of your outreach and follow up with interested dealers. Build relationships that encourage repeat purchases when relevant opportunities become available.

Who We're Looking For

\n

• Experience in outbound B2B sales. A background selling automotive software or lead-generation services to dealerships is preferred.
\n
• Strong phone sales skills. You should be comfortable reaching dealership decision-makers and handling objections. You know how to move a conversation toward a purchase without relying on a high-pressure pitch.
\n
• The ability to work independently. You can manage your own outreach and stay on top of follow-up. You should also be comfortable walking customers through an online platform.

Experience selling to dealerships through Cox Automotive or a comparable automotive technology company is especially relevant. Existing dealership relationships are a plus.

You’ll have a concrete reason to call: a buyer has submitted a vehicle request in the dealer’s area. This is an opportunity to help grow a new automotive marketplace while earning commission on dealer lead purchases.

Compensation

\n

$18 per hour, plus a $25 commission for each new dealership you bring on that completes its first lead purchase. This role focuses on acquiring new dealership customers.
