Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking an EHS Specialist to join their team. As an EHS Specialist, you will be part of the Environmental Compliance Department supporting the Safety and Regulatory team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive communication, and a commitment to environmental stewardship, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: EHS Specialist

Location: Irvine, CA

Pay Range: $19-$21/hr

Duration: 12 months (potential to extend)

What's the Job?

• Monitor and interpret environmental regulations to ensure compliance across manufacturing operations
• Assist in preparing and submitting environmental reports and documentation
• Support the development and implementation of environmental policies and procedures
• Conduct environmental assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelors degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, or related field preferred
• Experience in environmental compliance or regulatory analysis within a manufacturing environment is preferred
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations and reporting requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
