What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality nursing care to ER patients across all acuity levels, including trauma, cardiac, neuro, ortho, and medical cases
• Manage ventilators, critical care drips/titration, cardiac rhythms, and hemodynamic lines
• Assist with procedures such as chest tubes, drains, and conscious sedation
• Support patient stabilization and facilitate transfers or discharges as needed
• Collaborate with ED physicians, hospitalists, RTs, and other team members
• Maintain documentation in Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Comply with hospital protocols, including trauma and stroke protocols, and support a fast-paced, professional environment

What You Need

• Valid Louisiana RN license or proper state license with multi-state compact (if applicable)
• 2+ years of ER or emergency care nursing experience
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI or MOAB
• Strong critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to start
