Perfect for experienced ER RNs seeking flexible scheduling, attractive pay packages, and a rewarding work experience starting immediately.Quick Facts:Location: 2600 Greenwood Road, Shreveport, LA 71103Start Date: 09/21/2026End Date: 12/19/2026Shift: 12-Hour Night Shift (mostly 7 on/7 off; additional rotation options)Hours/Week: Variable based on schedule (typically 36-40 hours)Employment Type: Contract / Per DiemLicenses/Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, CPI or MOAB, TNCC (preferred)Experience: Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experiencePay & Benefits:Hourly Pay Rate: $50.25Benefits Include: Competitive pay packagesWeekly pay schedule via direct depositComprehensive medical benefits (W-2)Robust referral bonus programPaid sick time in accordance with all applicable lawsLicensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements (when applicable)What You'll Do:Provide high-quality emergency care to patients with various acute conditions including stroke, chest pain, cardiac issues, diabetes, renal failure, trauma, and infectious diseases.Perform and monitor complex procedures such as IV starts, NGT tube insertions, chest tube management, defibrillation, and stroke assessments using NIHSS.Collaborate with ED team members, including physicians, techs, and support staff, in fast-paced, high-acuity situations.Use EMR (Meditech Expanse) for charting and coordinate patient care efficiently.Support patient safety and comfort by adhering to hospital protocols and maintaining a professional bedside manner.Sustain a flexible schedule with mandatory weekend rotations and holiday work as scheduled.Maintain compliance with required certifications and pass the necessary competency exams prior to arrival.What You Need:Valid RN license in Louisiana or appropriate stateMinimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experienceCertifications in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, CPI or MOAB (TNCC preferred)Strong critical thinking, bedside skills, and ability to handle high-pressure situationsComfort with advanced procedures like chest tube management and stroke assessmentsAbility to work flexible shifts, including night hours, weekends, and holidaysAbout the Assignment:Join a busy Emergency Department in a reputable hospital in Shreveport, LA. The unit handles approximately 120 patients daily, providing care to a diverse patient population including pediatrics, geriatrics, and specialty cases like cardiac, trauma, and infectious disease.
