Invasive Cardiac Tech – Cardiac Cath Lab (Park Ridge, IL)

This contract is built for a tech who's already confident in high-acuity cath lab and EP work. The department runs a tight, well-supported setup with full cardiac coverage, and the call structure follows a pretty classic cath lab rhythm.

Shift & Schedule

• 10-hour day shift
• Start time: 7:00 a.m. or 8:00 a.m.
• Call required:
• 1 weekday per week
• Every 5th weekend
• Weekday call starts after 5:30 p.m.
• Weekend call runs Fri 5:30 p.m. to Mon 7:00 a.m.
• 30-minute response time
• Holidays follow the call rotation
• No floating

• 4 procedure rooms
• 15 prep/recovery bays
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Scrubs provided

Required Experience

• At least 3 years Cath Lab experience
• Strong EP background
• Experience assisting with pacemakers and ICDs
• Must be able to scrub and support:
• Structural heart
• Complex coronary
• Peripheral vascular
• EP procedures
• Previous travel experience preferred

Certifications & Licensing

• IL State License (IEMA)
• ARRT
• BLS
• ACLS preferred
• EPIC experience preferred, not mandatory
