No teaching certification is required. Applicants with at least 60 college credit hours or an Associate Degree may be eligible to apply.

Responsibilities

• Follow lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher

• Maintain a safe, positive, and productive learning environment

• Manage classroom behavior and encourage student engagement

• Take attendance and document classroom activities

• Supervise students during lunch, recess, and other assigned times

• Communicate professionally with school staff and administrators

• Help ensure students continue learning while their teacher is away

Schedule

Monday – Friday

Full-Day Assignments:
7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Half-Day Assignments:

• Morning: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM

• Afternoon: 12:00 PM – 4:30 PM

Assignment times may vary depending on the school.
