Senior Compensation Analyst

Are you an experienced compensation professional who enjoys both the strategic and hands-on aspects of compensation? Our client, a respected and mission-driven nonprofit organization in the Greater Seattle area, is seeking an experienced Senior Compensation Analyst to help shape, manage, and strengthen organization-wide compensation programs supporting both union-represented and non-union employees.

What You'll Do

• Design, implement, administer, and continuously improve organization-wide compensation programs
• Conduct market pricing, salary benchmarking, and compensation analyses to support competitive and equitable pay practices
• Evaluate jobs and job descriptions to determine appropriate classifications, salary ranges, and compensation levels
• Analyze internal equity and provide recommendations related to compensation structures and pay practices
• Support compensation programs for both union-represented and non-union employees
• Partner with HR leadership and organizational stakeholders on compensation strategy and decision-making
• Support compensation compliance, including pay equity, wage transparency, and applicable federal, state, and local requirements
• Develop reports and analyses to support compensation decisions and serve as a subject matter expert on compensation-related questions and initiatives

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of progressive compensation experience, including designing, implementing, administering, and maintaining organization-wide compensation programs
• Strong experience with market pricing, salary structures, job evaluation and classification, internal equity, and compensation analysis
• Experience supporting compensation programs within both union and non-union environments
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills with the ability to analyze complex compensation data and translate findings into practical recommendations; HRIS experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered
• Strong knowledge of compensation-related laws, regulations, pay equity, and wage transparency requirements

Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid)

Pay Rate: $40.00-$45.00/hr. DOE
