The organization is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) specializing in pediatric care for a position located in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role involves providing respiratory therapy services with a focus on critical care, pediatric experiences, and all floor therapies. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
• Specialty: Respiratory Therapist (Registered) RT PEDS
• Schedule: Night shifts, approximately 36 hours per week, beginning on June 1, 2026
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT). A minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience is preferred. No specific experience is required for this position beyond the general minimum.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with critical care, pediatric care, CVICU, NICU, and progressive care settings. Familiarity with EMR systems such as EPIC and use of department-specific equipment like servo ventilators, Trilogy, ResMed AirCurve, HiFlow, and Airvo is advantageous.
• Additional Information: The respiratory therapist will participate in departmental orientation lasting 2 days. Floating may be required to facilities within the designated region, with compensation for travel time during mid-shift float. The department emphasizes teamwork, adherence to organizational culture, and values.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
