As a Meat Department Team Member, you’ll help customers find the right cuts, keep the department stocked and fresh, and support daily operations that make the meat counter one of the most trusted areas in the store. This role is hands‑on, fast‑paced, and perfect for someone who enjoys learning new skills and delivering great service.

What will you be doing?

• Stock and rotate fresh, frozen, and packaged meat products

• Maintain proper temperature, sanitation, and food safety standards

• Assistcustomers with product questions, recommendations, and special requests

• Set andmaintainattractive displays following Meijer merchandising guidelines

• Keep prep areas, coolers, and counters clean and organized

• Follow department procedures for cutting, wrapping, labeling, and storing product

• Support inventory management and back‑stock organization

• Work collaboratively with team members and leadership to meet department goals

What skills will you use?

• Strong listening and communications skills, face-to-face and virtually.

• Willingness to learn or existing familiarity with job-specific technology.

• Problem-solving competence and eagerness to troubleshoot when necessary.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling product.
