We are excited to announce an opportunity at a flourishing 370-bed hospital situated on the Southern Texas Coast, just an hour away from Houston. We are looking for a full-time Gastroenterology (GI) physician to lead our new fellowship program, set to launch in 2027.
The Role:- Collaborate with and share on-call duties with three other GI specialists.
- Work closely with hospital leadership and administration to establish and grow the GI fellowship program.
- Enjoy a Monday to Thursday work schedule, with one full administrative day each week.
- Conduct procedures in the mornings and see patients in the clinic during the afternoons.
- Average 6-10 procedures daily, with the option to perform ERCP.
- Base salary is negotiable, ranging from $750,000 to $800,000.
- Annual stipend for the Program Director role is $135,000.
- Total earnings can exceed $1 million, with additional income potential through wRVU.
- Sign-on bonus of $50,000, along with options for student loan repayment.
- Continuing Medical Education (CME) support, 25 days of paid time off (PTO), comprehensive benefits, and retirement/401K plans.
- Located just over an hour from Houston and near the Louisiana border, this vibrant community of 100,000 residents offers excellent access to the Gulf Coast, with popular beach spots like Crystal Beach and Sea Rim State Park nearby.
