Contract | Days | Full-Time | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Onsite | Variable Start Times (7:00 AM / 9:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care within a Level I Trauma-designated acute care operating room environment
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic surgical cases
• Participate in an on-call rotation distributed equally among nursing staff, which may include nights, evenings, and weekends (up to 6–8 shifts per 6-week period)
• Float between like units within the facility or to affiliated nearby facilities as needed
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Be available to cover occasional night shifts and work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)

Required Qualifications

• Active, valid California RN License (must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Demonstrated experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic surgical specialties
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Willingness to fulfill on-call requirements and weekend shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in an acute care hospital setting with a high trauma volume
• Familiarity with floating to sister or affiliate facilities
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
