Title: Verification of Benefits Specialist

Location: Lake Mary, FL 32746 (100% Onsite)

Duration: 6 Month’s + Extension

Pay Range : $20/hr to $21/hr (On W2)

We are looking for a “Verification of Benefits Specialist “ to join one of our Fortune 500 clients.

Description:

Verification of Benefits Specialist – (Lake Mary, FL 32746 – Local Candidates Only)

Insurance Benefits Verification Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify patient insurance benefits with insurance companies

• Handle prior authorizations, PCP referrals, and LOA requests

• Follow up on approvals, denials, and appeals

• Maintain accurate records in practice management systems

• Communicate authorization status and patient financial responsibility

• Coordinate with internal teams and insurance providers

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of insurance verification/prior authorization experience (2+ years preferred)

• Strong knowledge of Medicare rules, managed care, benefits, and authorizations

• Experience with denials, appeals, and collections preferred

• Advanced MS Office skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
