Travel Physical Therapist - $1,746 per week

Job Overview Fusion Medical Staffing‑Therapy seeks a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Millsboro, Delaware. The PT will work 8‑hour shifts, 40 hours per week, starting 06/01/2026. Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and history to identify functional limitations and treatment needs. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement physical therapy treatment plans using exercise, manual therapy, and modalities to improve mobility and reduce pain. Operate specialized PT equipment safely and maintain it. Assess progress, adjust treatment plans, and accurately document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other team members for coordinated care. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management. Maintain a safe treatment environment, following infection control, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards. Participate in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities. Collaborate in discharge planning and transition planning. Perform other duties within scope of practice as assigned. Required Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Delaware. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Strong critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency in English communication and PC skills. Preferred Qualifications Doctorate degree in physical therapy. Experience in physical therapy; new graduates welcomed. Other certifications or licenses relevant to the position.
