Pay rate: $23.50, plus shift differential Job Description: Primarily responsible for assuring all procedures are followed in achieving the highest level of productivity in the most cost-efficient manner possible while still maintaining customer specifications. Direct and lead a team of employees ensuring compliance with all food safety programs and enforcing Farmer Focus policies. Responsible for employees’ performance development safety and work schedule. Responsibilities: · Assist Supervisor on getting the Cone line started daily on time. · Fill in as needed at any position to ensure a consistent product flow. · Assist Supervisor with Production paperwork as needed. · Respond to USDA inspectors and their concerns in a timely and correct manner. · Help train new team members and monitor their performance. · Perform production checks to ensure the department is performing to standards. · Assist other supervisors and managers with issues in other departments in the plant. Job Requirements: · Excellent attendance is required of all applicants. · Person selected must know or be willing to learn all the jobs in the department. · Basic math and reading skills. · Ability to do paperwork as needed. · Proven performance and positive attitude. · Ability to occasionally lift up to 70 pounds. · Other Job Duties as needed Farmer Focus is committed to the principles of equal employment and to complying with all federal, state, and local laws providing equal employment opportunities, and all other employment laws and regulations.
