Forklift Driver

OverviewPoly-America, L.P. is currently hiring Forklift Drivers to join our shipping and receiving departments. Poly-America produces several lines of polyethylene products including high quality trash bags, construction and agricultural films.ResponsibilitiesForklift Drivers at Poly-America are responsible for safe operation of sit-down propane forklifts for the purpose of handling, loading, and unloading finished product. Drivers at Poly-America regularly use RF scanners and inventory control systems to pull orders, keep production lines supplied, and re-stock inventory racks. The role may involve additional responsibilities and opportunities as they become necessary and/or are assigned by management. Forklift Drivers work a yearly set schedule of 4 days on and 4 days off with 12 hour shifts. The days of the week worked will rotate from week to week. Candidates must be available to work each day of the week.QualificationsAt least six months of recent experience operating a forklift.The ability to work in a fast paced environment.The ability to work a night shift or a day shift as assigned by management.The ability to be a good student of Poly-America processes, equipment, and procedures.Successfully passing a drug screen is required for this position.
