Position Overview

Join a devoted team of healthcare professionals as we seek a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations, from abdominal and obstetric to gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, ensuring each step of the procedure is communicated clearly
• Cultivate strong collaborations with radiologists and referring clinicians to deliver impeccable diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing technical issues
• Document procedures meticulously and maintain comprehensive patient records integrated into our electronic medical system
• Remain informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging methodologies and best practices

Education Requirements

• Possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Must hold current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is favored

Skills Needed

• Exhibit strong technical abilities in sonographic imaging and patient positioning techniques
• Display excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills
• Capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a diverse healthcare team
