About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active Nursing License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Med-Surg Experience Team Player Critical Thinking Skills Description: Unit Information: Number of Beds: 36 Number of Staff: 49 Patient Ratios: Nurse/Patient = 6:1 Type of Staff During Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 3 RNs, 3 LPNs, 3 PCTs, 1 Secretary Type of Staff During Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 3 RNs, 3 LPNs, 3 PCTs Type of Equipment: IV pumps Wound Vac SCD pumps Kangaroo Pumps Chest Tubes Telemetry PCA pumps Bipaps Epidurals EMR Typical Procedures Performed: Wound Vac changes Wound Care IV insertions Insertion of Indwelling Foley Catheters Best Personality Fit: Willing to work as part of a team. Floating Areas: 6A, 3A, 3 South, 4 South Dress Code: Ceil Blue scrubs, no sweatshirts, no crocs Weekends and On Call: Every other weekend shifts On Call during low census
