Salary and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of $210,000 to $230,000 for full-time Criticalists, depending on experience. Benefits include employer‑paid health, vision, and dental insurance, 401(k) with match, professional license and dues, continuing education allowance, personal pet discounts, and Long‑Term Incentive Plans (LTIPs) such as student loan reimbursement, retention bonuses, and up to 6 weeks of paid time off/sick time based on tenure. Our Hospital We are a 24‑hour Emergency/Critical Care Practice providing advanced emergency care for small animals. The new hospital spans 15,000 sq ft and features 8 exam rooms, 2 surgical suites, a spacious lobby, and many amenities designed for client, patient, and staff comfort. We employ a dedicated support staff in a pleasant working environment. Specialized equipment, technology, and services include: In‑house diagnostic testing: CBC, chemistry, electrolytes, urinalysis, coagulograms, blood gas, ionized calcium, quantitative cortisol, pancreatic lipase, fecal analysis, PCV/TS, Canine 4Dx, CPL, Parvo, Feline Heartworm, FELV, FIV, cytology, etc. Additional diagnostics: blood pressure, EKG, pulse oximetry, tonometry. Endoscopy. ForceTriad / Ligasure surgical equipment. Digital X‑rays and new X‑ray machine. Oxygen cages and ventilators. Neonatal incubator cages. Large Intensive Care Units. Cat‑only room. New ultrasound machine. Emergency dental procedures. Large pharmacy. Multiple large surgical suites. Large surgical prep room with steam and plasma sterilizers. Separate dog and cat isolation wards. Quiet, modern doctor’s office with electric custom‑height desks and laptop docking systems. Large conference spaces and wet lab areas hosting regular in‑house CE. Quiet bunk room equipped with full bath for emergencies. Location Bel Air, MD is located in beautiful Harford County, offering access to state parks, hiking, biking, horseback riding, kayaking, and proximity to the Chesapeake Bay, Washington D.C., and Philadelphia.
