Job Overview Job Title: Global ITS Data Center Operator Duration: 6 Months (Contract) Location: Danbury, CT Hours: 1st Shift, 7am – 3:30pm, Saturday and Sunday Pay: $28 / hr on W2 Base pay range: $26.00/hr - $28.00/hr Job Description: Monitor Systems Availability in the Data Center and report system failures to appropriate support personnel. Monitor Windows Server security patching and troubleshoot issues; decommission Windows Servers. Monitor and respond to Service Desk tickets via Micro Focus Service Manager. Monitor System Backup logs and process file restores upon request. Process LAN ID requests and terminations; maintain record keeping for LAN IDs; administer shared folder access (Windows environment). Monitor Network Availability – Network Operations Center (NOC). Light use of PowerShell, VBScript or similar scripting language. Utilize Orion SolarWinds for system/network monitoring. Must have good verbal and written skills. Basic understanding of TCP/IP. Systems monitoring experience. Experience with Tidal Enterprise Scheduler or similar Job Scheduling tool.
