This is a senior level leadership role for a proven project manager and business developer who is ready to grow client relationships, lead complex projects, and help expand CHA’s presence across the Southeast.As a Senior Project Manager at CHA, you will lead land development projects from pursuit through delivery—ensuring they are executed on time, within scope, and on budget—while maintaining a strong focus on client satisfaction and financial performance. Approximately 50% of this role is dedicated to business development, including leveraging existing client relationships, pursuing new opportunities, and driving repeat work.This position is ideal for a professional who combines technical expertise with strong client-facing and leadership skills and is motivated by growing both projects and people.What You'll Do:Lead and deliver land development projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, and qualityServe as a trusted advisor to clients, building long-term relationships and expanding client accountsActively pursue new business by leveraging an established professional network, identifying leads, and executing client pursuit strategiesPrepare and oversee proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and project closeout documentationManage project financials, including budgets, forecasts, billing, and cash flowInterpret and administer client contracts and ensure compliance with contractual requirementsCollaborate across disciplines and offices to deliver integrated solutionsMentor and motivate team members while fostering strong internal relationshipsRepresent CHA through networking, industry involvement, and client engagementWhat You Bring:Bachelor’s Degree in related technical field requiredMinimum of11 years of professional experience, including 8 years of project management experience requiredProfessional Engineer (PE) or Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) license requiredDemonstrated success expanding client bases, winning pursuits, and driving revenue growthAn established network of clients capable of generating new business opportunitiesStrong experience managing client relationships and complex, multi-project workloadsProven ability to prepare proposals, manage project development, and support organizational growth goalsSolid understanding of project accounting, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash managementProficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and the Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence and adapt to diverse audiencesStrong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work independentlyWillingness and ability to travel as neededWhy You'll Love It Here:Lead impactful land development projects that shape communities while balancing environmental, regulatory, and stakeholder considerationsStrengthen your leadership and project management skills within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environmentFlexible work environment with opportunities for local and occasional travelCurious about the impactful work our Land Development team is doing?
