Travel Advisor Discovering the World – One Member at a Time! We’re looking for a travel enthusiast with a strong sales drive, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. Successful Travel Advisors help members plan and book international and domestic travel, including cruises, land packages, itineraries, flights, car and hotel reservations. Responsibilities Sells international and domestic travel packages. Shares knowledge and expertise from personal experiences and/or education study trips. Develops long‑standing relationships with members and builds referral and repeat business. Recommends options to ensure the trip experience exceeds expectations and is tailored to each member. Cross‑sold relevant products, such as the AAA Member Rewards Credit Card, and identified theft referrals. Training & Recognition The role includes training through The Auto Club University, company‑sponsored IATAN cards, regular recognition programs, and incentives such as trips, cash and prizes. Training also includes a Travel Consultant Trainee program that requires some travel for hands‑on experience. Required / Preferred Skills High school diploma (preferred 2‑ or 4‑year college degree). Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check and drug screening. At least 2 years of successful retail sales, banking, or leisure travel agency experience in a goal‑oriented environment (preferred). Computer savvy – navigating multiple systems, web browsers, Microsoft Office; typing ≥30WPM. Strong organizational skills and ability to handle paperwork efficiently. Qualifications & Availability Passion for travel. Available to work most Saturdays and some evenings to support goal achievement. Driven by sales and exceeding goals. Open to travel for training.
