Accounts Payable Coordinator

$23 - $26.5 per hour

Accounts Payable Coordinator As a member of the company’s Accounting team, the Accounts Payable Coordinator will play a key role in supporting day‑to‑day financial operations and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of vendor payments. This role provides exposure to corporate accounting processes, internal controls, and cross‑functional collaboration. Duties Support Bottomline system operations, including verifying invoices for accuracy, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues related to fingerprinting, automation, and system testing. Respond to vendor and internal correspondence, ensuring timely and professional communication. Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies in partnership with internal teams. Execute online utility payments. Assist with month‑end close activities and audit support, including SOX compliance. Monitor and manage shared AP inboxes to ensure all inquiries and invoices are addressed promptly. Support document management and record‑keeping, including scanning, organizing, and maintaining financial records. Provide backup support across Accounts Payable functions, including processing non‑PO invoices in a fast‑paced, medium‑volume environment (1,500 invoices per month). Contribute to process improvements and support special projects as needed. What You’ll Gain Exposure to accounting within a publicly traded REIT environment. Requirements Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment (minimum two days onsite in downtown Denver, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays), with flexibility to adapt as business or travel needs evolve. Process improvement mindset and eagerness to learn. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple shifting priorities in a deadline‑driven environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications; familiarity with accounting systems a plus. Team‑oriented with a strong sense of accountability and ownership. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information. Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred or 2+ years. Accounts Payable experience, accounting, or a related field. Internship or relevant coursework is a plus. Understanding of Accounts Payable functions a plus. Experience with JD Edwards or Bottomline AP Automation is a plus. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Compensation Compensation for this role includes a base salary between $23.00/hr to $26.50. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus and equity, based upon individual and company performance. Posting Timeline This position is expected to be posted through May 20th 2026.
