Accounting Assistant

Century Group is in search of an experienced Accounting Assistant to join a team in Thornton, CO. Qualified candidates with 1+ years of accounting experience are encouraged to apply. Local candidates only.
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $20.00 to $25.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities:

• Perform reconciliation and maintain oversight of ledger accounts.
• Analyze and manage extensive datasets, including transaction records and liabilities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assets, reports, and communications.
• Identify and resolve financial discrepancies efficiently.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Customer Support teams to gather necessary information.

• 1-2+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Knowledge of unclaimed property reporting is a plus.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Capable of adapting to changing priorities effectively.

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Skilled at communicating with professionals at all organizational levels.
