Accounting Assistant

Century Group is in search of an experienced Accounting Assistant to join a team in Thornton, CO. Qualified candidates with 1+ years of accounting experience are encouraged to apply. Local candidates only.
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $20.00 to $25.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities:
- Perform reconciliation and maintain oversight of ledger accounts.
- Analyze and manage extensive datasets, including transaction records and liabilities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assets, reports, and communications.
- Identify and resolve financial discrepancies efficiently.
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Customer Support teams to gather necessary information.
- 1-2+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Knowledge of unclaimed property reporting is a plus.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Capable of adapting to changing priorities effectively.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Skilled at communicating with professionals at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems effectively and efficiently.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a dynamic accounting environment.
