Locums Emergency Medicine Physician OpportunityWe are seeking a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician to provide coverage at a busy community emergency department in Orlando, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a modern, well-supported emergency department with access to comprehensive specialty services.Position HighlightsLevel II Trauma CenterComprehensive Stroke Center and STEMI/Heart Center11 private patient care bedsDedicated trauma roomDedicated pediatric treatment roomApproximately 30 patients per dayPatients requiring admission are transferred to the main campus with seamless handoff to intensivists, hospitalists, and specialistsCollaborative emergency medicine teamResponsibilitiesEvaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent medical conditions.Stabilize and manage critically ill and injured patients.Perform emergency procedures within the scope of emergency medicine practice.Manage trauma, medical, and pediatric emergencies.Coordinate care with specialists and inpatient teams to ensure smooth patient transitions.Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.Deliver high-quality, evidence-based emergency care in a fast-paced environment.QualificationsMD or DOBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) preferredBoard Certified in Family Medicine with a minimum of 4 years of Emergency Medicine experience and/or completion of an Emergency Medicine Fellowship will also be consideredCurrent ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certificationsActive Florida medical license or ability to obtainDEA registration required
