Sr. Principal Lead Health Actuary Consultant

Director-Level Health Actuary ConsultantDirector-level Health Actuary Consultant role in Phoenix, Arizona, supporting employer health benefits strategy and insurance consulting. You'll lead client engagements involving projections, plan design, carrier selection, IBNP valuations, benchmarking, and renewals, while directing junior staff and presenting recommendations to clients. The role is hybrid, with at least three office days weekly, and requires 15+ years of actuarial experience plus an ASA or FSA.Must HaveBA/BS degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, finance, economics or related field15+ years' experience working in an actuarial fieldASA or FSA credentialStrongly PreferredStrong analytical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Proven project management skills and creative problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work in teams and be flexible under tight deadlinesConsulting experienceTools: Excel PowerPoint Domain: Health benefits strategy and consulting Underwriting health and welfare insurance Health care cost projections and IBNP valuations Plan design optimization and renewal negotiations
