Principal Lead Health Actuary Consultant

Senior Health Actuarial Consulting RoleClient-facing health actuarial consultant. Closer to consulting client-facing than a pricing or underwriting partner because the remit spans employer advisory engagements, renewals, reports, and proposal support. Senior health actuarial consulting role based in Phoenix or another US office, with a hybrid requirement of at least three days per week in-office. You will lead employer health benefits engagements covering financial projections, plan design, underwriting support, renewals, and client strategy while guiding junior staff and supporting business development.RequirementsMust have:BA/BS degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, finance, economics, or related fieldMinimum 10+ years of actuarial experience with health and benefits consultingStrongly preferred:Proven progress toward ASA designationClient-facing experienceStrong analytical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Nice to have:Experience in health benefits actuarial consultingASA credentialSkills & Domain:Tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Excel Domain: Health and benefits consulting, Client-facing experience, Employer health plan financial projections and design
