Interim Director Technical Accounting

A high-growth, Fortune 100 technology company is seeking a proven Senior Accounting Leader to join a global finance organization. This role sits within a complex, innovative environment supporting new business initiatives, large-scale global operations, and multiple business lines. About the Role This leader will play a key role in the financial reporting process, support business expansion, and help strengthen internal controls across a rapidly evolving portfolio of businesses. The position will partner across global finance teams, technical accounting, operations, and executive leadership and will routinely handle complex issues requiring sound judgment, research, and cross-functional coordination. Key Responsibilities Lead portions of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting process Assess, design, and strengthen internal controls aligned with business growth Conduct and document technical accounting research and conclusions Partner with internal teams on new launches, systems enhancements, and process improvements Mentor and guide junior team members while influencing stakeholders at all levels Contribute to special projects impacting global operations Who We’re Seeking 10+ years of progressive professional accounting experience Senior Manager-level experience in public accounting and/or a large public company Strong GAAP technical knowledge and experience with internal controls (COSO framework) Experience navigating complex organizational structures and large-scale business models Demonstrated ability to lead teams and deliver results in fast-paced environments Preferred Experience CPA (or equivalent) Big 4 background, ideally serving Fortune 500 clients Operational or corporate accounting roles in large enterprise environments Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to solve complex accounting and operational challenges Comfort with technology, systems, and process transformation Why This Opportunity Exposure to multiple high-impact business lines Complex accounting and operational challenges to solve Leadership visibility and the ability to influence global decision-making Inclusive, collaborative culture with strong performance standards #J-18808-Ljbffr SpectrumCareers
