This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Holiday rotation required.

Job Description

The CT Scan Tech will perform CT imaging procedures with a focus on patient safety and care. The successful candidate will be expected to work in a fast-paced, Level 1 Trauma environment and demonstrate proficiency in operating various CT equipment. This role also involves collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures on patients of all ages in a timely manner.
• Prepare and administer contrast material as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols.
• Utilize advanced imaging technology including Siemens Force and Go.Top equipment.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience preferred, with at least 6 months in a Level 1 Trauma setting.
• Current certifications: BLS, ARRT RT (R) (CT), and SCRQSA (R) (CT).
• Experience with Siemens equipment and PIV procedures is required.
• Radiation badge must be supplied by the agency; candidates must not rely on facility-provided badges.
