Machine Operator Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain production machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Perform machine setup, calibration, adjustments, and changeovers to ensure optimal performance and production efficiency.

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and make minor repairs to reduce downtime and maintain workflow.

• Align tools, guides, cutters, fixtures, and machine components according to production requirements.

• Monitor machine operations, conveyor systems, moving parts, and production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

• Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to verify products meet company and customer specifications.

• Operate both manual and automated production equipment while maintaining production standards.

• Load, position, and secure materials, tooling, and fixtures for machining and manufacturing operations.

• Monitor machine input/output, production rates, efficiency metrics, and product accuracy.

• Perform finishing operations such as grinding, smoothing, shaping, trimming, and deburring products as needed.

• Maintain accurate production logs, quality records, machine performance reports, and defect tracking documentation.

• Assist with preventative maintenance programs, machine cleaning, lubrication, and routine equipment inspections.

• Follow all safety procedures, GMP standards, company policies, and OSHA regulations.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

• Properly handle, recycle, and dispose of production waste in accordance with environmental and company guidelines.

• 7:00 AM 4:30 PM

Qualifications

• Previous machine operator, production operator, manufacturing, or equipment operator experience preferred.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes.

• Experience performing machine setup, calibration, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.

• Strong math, measurement, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience using precision measuring tools and quality inspection equipment preferred.

• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to lift, stand, bend, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods.

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
