Job Details

Manage all phases of litigation from inception through resolution
Handle pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues
Draft memoranda, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
Represent clients during court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and hearings
Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carriers
Develop and execute litigation strategies in partnership with senior attorneys
Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with court deadlines
Evaluate liability exposure and provide legal recommendations
Support trial preparation and attend proceedings as necessary

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
2-8 years of litigation experience
Experience in general liability defense and/or professional liability defense
Active law license and good standing with applicable state bar
Strong legal research, analytical, and writing abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong advocacy and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills
