The Accounting Associate plays a vital role in supporting the financial operations of the organization by managing day-to-day accounting tasks and ensuring accuracy in financial records. This position involves working collaboratively with finance team members to maintain compliance and support various accounting processes.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare financial reports and documentation as needed
- Support audit preparation and respond to auditor inquiries
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data
