Operations Agent

Ocean Export CoordinatorLaSalle Network is in search of an Ocean Export Coordinator for one of our established, industry-leading clients within freight forwarding. This role requires prior logistics experience and involves managing end-to-end ocean export operations, ensuring seamless coordination with clients, carriers, and internal teams. This position is fully on-site in Wood Dale, IL.Ocean Export Coordinator Responsibilities:Coordinate and manage all aspects of ocean export shipments from origin to destination, including booking cargo, preparing documentation, and arranging transportationEnsure accuracy and compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and company policiesPrepare and review export documentation such as bills of lading, certificates of origin, invoices, and packing listsCommunicate with carriers, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to ensure timely shipment delivery and resolve transit issuesMonitor shipment status and provide proactive updates to clients and internal teams while maintaining high levels of customer satisfactionOcean Export Coordinator Requirements:3+ years of logistics or freight forwarding/logistics experience requiredStrong understanding of ocean export processes, documentation, and complianceStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with clients, carriers, and internal teamsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and OutlookPay and Benefits:Pay: $22-24 per hour, depending on experienceBenefits: LaSalle Network consultants are eligible to enroll in benefits – Wood Dale, ILWork Model: 100% onsiteIf you have logistics experience and are looking for a dynamic role in a fast-paced industry, we encourage you to apply!
