Your Role - What You'll Achieve

• Conduct both routine and specialized clinical lab tests across various disciplines including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to established guidelines.
• Ensure the accuracy of test results, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection when needed and prepare samples for thorough testing.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of procedures, support the orientation of new staff or students, and uphold the highest quality standards in the lab.
• Champion safety and compliance by maintaining a clean and regulated workplace.

Educational Background

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health qualification with preparations for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Required

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be secured within the first year of employment.
• Keep your certification active throughout your tenure in this role.
