UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry is hiring a Dental Dispensary Assistant to manage inventory, order and receive supplies, dispense dental instrumentation and materials to students, and support dispensary operations. Key Accountabilities Cleans, disinfects, packages, and sterilizes dental and surgical instruments. Orders and dispenses instruments, dental materials, and supplies to students and faculty. Sets up sterile instrument trays for surgical procedures. Operates ultrasonic cleaners and sterilizers. Maintains inventory levels and records. Assists in periodic or annual inventory as required; maintains security of university property in work areas. Ensures proper utilization and compliance with clinic equipment loan policies. Performs other duties as assigned. Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum experience: None required; 1 year of experience in customer service, central sterilization, receiving, storing, issuing, and accounting for dental materials and property preferred. Certification & Skills None. Physical Requirements Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
