Job Title: Community Outreach Specialist
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Indianapolis, IN 46204 (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: $25-30.70/hour W2

Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Human services, social services or early childhood education.
Valid Indiana Driver's License and ability to travel throughout the State of Indiana.
Prior experience working with children and families.
At least 1 year coordinating community outreach efforts..
Prior experience working with community programs.
Computer proficiency with software applications including MS Word, Excel, Power Point.
Prior experience presenting to audiences for a variety of stakeholders.
Proficiency in Wod, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Prior marketing experience. (Nice to have)
Prior state agency or public health experience.

Details
Position is hybrid, primarily remote and travel throughout Indiana to attend community events, conferences and expos as Assigned. 
Candidate must be on-site in the Indianapolis office for orientation/training/meetings as requested. Travel to the Indianapolis DOH office is not reimbursed.
Position requires approximately 50% field travel throughout Indiana. Field travel is reimbursed. 
Position is expected to last for 1 year with high likelihood of renewal. 
Position does require some heavy lifting when setting up and breaking down exhibitions/events.  
Position does require a flexible schedule, to include evening and weekend hours for community events.
