Service Advisor

Job Title: Service Advisor Location: Marshfield, Wisconsin Company: I-State Truck Centers We’re growing and looking for an energetic, customer-focused Service Advisor to join our Marshfield team. If you love solving problems, building relationships, and keeping heavy-duty trucks rolling, this is your opportunity! Service Advisors play a critical role in our operations by building strong customer relationships and working closely with technicians to diagnose and resolve service issues. We look for a person who is committed to quality and excellence, can communicate effectively, and has a solid understanding of the truck service industry. Responsibilities Assist customers at the service counter and by phone, handling the full transaction from appointment to invoice and payment collection. Assist fellow service office employees with managing schedule and workload. Manage technician time and monitor repair progress for maximum efficiency. Work with the parts department to gather information for repair estimates and update customers for approval. Coordinate with outside vendors for sublet work needed on customer units. Assist with warranty claims at branch level and collaborate with the warranty department to maximize vendor recovery. Qualifications Basic computer skills and knowledge. High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent communication and time management skills. Strong problem solver with the ability to think outside the box. 3 years of truck or automotive service writing experience required. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including excellent customer service and phone skills. Organized and able to manage time wisely. The desire to succeed in a day‑to‑day challenging position. Mechanical experience.
