Manufacturing Technician I Location: Marlborough, MA Onsite Flexibility: Onsite Contract Details Position Type: Contract Contract Duration: 6 months Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour (USD) Shift / Schedule: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. Job Summary The Manufacturing Technician I is responsible for testing, calibrating, and repairing production machines and related subassemblies to meet quality and efficiency standards in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities Test, calibrate, and repair production machines and related subassemblies to written and/or oral specifications in a timely fashion. Responsible for meeting or exceeding quality and efficiency standards. Ensures quality and operation of work. Reads and interprets schematics and blueprints required to ensure proper calibration of machines. Timely and accurate testing and calibration of all electronic subassemblies and must clearly document results. Ensure that design, implementation, test and maintenance methods and/or processes are developed as well as executed in a manner which supports all Quality Standards. Perform other duties as required. Required Skills Troubleshooting skills — a key competency for this role. Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints. Ability to accurately document testing and calibration results. Knowledge of quality standards and ability to execute processes in compliance with them. Work Environment / Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
