Room Inspector/Housekeeping Supervisor

We are hiring a Room Inspector/Housekeeping Supervisor! As the Housekeeping Supervisor you directly oversee housekeeping, laundry and houseperson team members. Responsibilities include providing the highest quality of service to the customer at all times, supervising room care attendants, inspecting guest rooms and public areas on a daily basis to ensure standards of cleanliness, conducting ongoing training of all housekeeping employees to increase job knowledge and skill level, promoting teamwork and employee morale, assisting in running pre-shift meetings, distributing keys and assignments to the staff, ensuring proper grooming standards are met, communicating all policies and procedures for housekeeping and special cleaning projects, maintaining cleanliness and organization of linen rooms, laundry area, lost and found, storage rooms, employee break room, and guest room attendant's carts, ensuring ready status of all rooms daily, maintaining key control, ensuring guest satisfaction through room cleanliness and attention to guest needs, checking fixtures, television, radio, and heating/cooling equipment for proper operation, setting heating/cooling equipment and radio on proper settings, inspecting room for maintenance needs and reporting on maintenance service requests, performing daily general clean duties and changing of bedspreads, blankets, mattress pads and shower curtains as assigned, logging rooms cleaned on daily housekeeping report, folding terry and linen while waiting for rooms, knowing how to operate laundry equipment and maintaining public area cleanliness.
