Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments via virtual/telehealth visits Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for obesity and related chronic conditions Develop individualized nutrition care plans Deliver nutrition education and counseling using motivational interviewing and behavior-change frameworks Support patient engagement through clear communication and elevate clinical concerns as appropriate Collaborate with physicians, NPs, health coaches, and care coordinators Participate in care planning and case reviews as needed Document encounters, assessments, and care plans in the EHR Use telehealth and patient engagement tools effectively Maintain licensure standards and HIPAA compliance Contribute to clinical program development, quality initiatives, and interdisciplinary care innovation as opportunities arise Requirements Active RD/RDN credential in good standing Active LD/LDN or CD/CDN license in state(s) of practice Bachelor’s or master's degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or related field Clinical/ambulatory experience providing nutrition counseling or MNT (required) Experience with obesity/weight management/chronic conditions and telehealth (preferred) Strong patient-centered counseling and documentation skills Comfortable working in interdisciplinary teams Comfort with EHRs and telehealth platforms Reliable internet Private, HIPAA-compliant workspace Ability to work approximately 20-40 hours per week Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for obesity and chronic conditions, with strong skills in patient-centered counseling and documentation. Proficient in using telehealth platforms and EHRs while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
