Hematologist Oncologist Location: Seattle, Washington, United States (on-site). The Providence Swedish Cancer Institute (PSCI) is seeking a Hematologist Oncologist to join a highly regarded multidisciplinary Oncology program in Seattle. Practice within a collaborative, academically engaged environment while delivering exceptional, patient-centered care to individuals with hematologic malignancies. Position Highlights Full‑time position. Well‑established hematology oncology team in one of the Pacific Northwest's leading cancer programs. Focus on malignant and benign hematology with access to robust subspecialty collaboration. Emphasis on patient education, shared decision‑making, and individualized care planning. Collaborative environment with medical oncology, stem cell transplant, pathology, radiation oncology, APPs, nursing, pharmacy, and supportive care services. Access to clinical trials and emerging therapies. Practice in a mission‑driven organization known for compassionate, whole‑person care. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive hematology oncology care for patients with leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and non‑malignant blood disorders. Partner with patients and families in a holistic, relationship‑based approach that emphasizes understanding patient goals and priorities. Deliver clear, thorough education so patients can confidently understand diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment options. Guide patients through the complex and evolving treatment landscape, including standard therapies and emerging options. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Participate in quality initiatives, clinical program development, and continuous improvement efforts within PSCI. Contribute to a culture of collegiality, professionalism, and clinical excellence. Compensation is between $484,514 and $679,924 per year. Qualifications & Requirements Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology. Eligible for medical licensure in Washington State. Demonstrated commitment to patient‑centered, compassionate care.
