The Plumber is responsible for performing residential plumbing services, including installation, maintenance, and repair of pipes, fixtures, and related systems. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing plumbing issues, completing service calls, executing remodel-related plumbing work, and ensuring all work meets safety and code requirements. The role involves interacting directly with customers, explaining findings and options, providing clear estimates, and maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor. The Plumber is expected to work collaboratively with team members, document work performed, and follow company procedures to support high-quality service delivery. Qualifications Strong skills in plumbing installation and troubleshooting, including experience with residential systems and fixtures. Ability to work with pipes, fittings, and related materials safely and accurately, following relevant codes and standards. Competence in maintenance and repair, including routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and timely resolution of service issues. Customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, listen actively, and provide respectful, solution-focused support. Valid plumbing license or equivalent certification appropriate to the Dallas, TX area, with familiarity with local codes and regulations. Capability to use common plumbing tools and diagnostic equipment, and to complete accurate service documentation. Reliable work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy field environment.
