General Production Worker

General Production WorkerAs a General Production Worker, you will load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances. You will operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators. Additionally, you will place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, and wrapping. Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards is essential. You will start machines or equipment to begin production processes and observe equipment operations to detect malfunctions, notifying operators, supervisors, or maintenance personnel. Other duties include removing products or waste material from machines, lifting raw materials, finished products, and packed items manually, transferring finished products and raw materials between storage and work areas by hand or using a forklift, packing and storing materials and products, marking and tagging products, and dumping materials into machine hoppers for mixing.
