Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CNA experience in an acute care or hospital setting preferred
• High school diploma or GED required
• Current Oregon CNA1 certification required
• BLS certification from AHA required
• Epic charting experience required
• Strong skills in patient mobility, hygiene support, vital signs, and intake/output documentation
• Ability to provide safe, compassionate care to adult and older adult patients
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient admissions and discharges in a hospital setting
• Obtain and document vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other unit-specific care tasks
• Support patients with hygiene, ambulation, transfers, feeding, and other daily living needs
• Maintain accurate CNA documentation in the medical record using Epic
• Promote patient- and family-centered care through courteous, responsive support
• Report changes in patient condition promptly to the nursing and clinical care team
• Follow professional standards, patient safety practices, and compliance guidelines
• Contribute to a positive, efficient, and compassionate acute care environment
