As a Security Officer Full Time Access Reception in Weehawken, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will create a welcoming, professional first impression while supporting access control, visitor management, and security-related communications. Your customer service and attention to detail will help maintain an organized environment for tenants and guests. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees at a commercial office location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and access records.
• Monitor lobby activity, access control systems, cameras, alarms, and other security-related equipment; report unusual activity, incidents, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Maintain a professional front-desk presence, answer phones, receive deliveries, and support tenant and building management requests in accordance with site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
