Sanmina Corporation has facilities strategically located in key regions throughout the world.Production Planner/Scheduler (Medical Device)Job Purpose:Our Carrollton facility is looking for a Production Planner/Scheduler for our Medical Device manufacturing operations. Responsible for coordinating and developing production schedules on a daily or weekly basis to meet goals. Take stock of inventory levels and facilitate providing necessary materials and components.Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:The responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:Plan, schedule, coordinate and/or monitor products through the complete production cycle based on customer orders and delivery requirementsWork from engineering plans and production specifications to establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirementsCoordinate production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedulesMake or recommend revisions to planned production schedules as necessary when schedules cannot be metReschedule rework, unfinished parts, and assemblies, new production releases, and special ordersEstablish effective communication with various departments as necessary to meet production requirementsEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceMinimum 5 years related experienceStrong knowledge of manufacturing capabilities and processesA strong background in MRPAn understanding of master scheduling and forecasting processesWorking knowledge of FDA QSR (21 CFR Part 820), ISO 13485 and ability to understand other medical device regulations and standardsPreferred experience with electronic multi level builds who is willing to work in a fast paced environmentAbility to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.Strong computer skills with MS Office / Google suite experience Ability to create and understand reports in order to make production decisions.A desire to promote the success of the organization and production staff.Sanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer
