Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations, documenting observations and irregular conditions. Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures; assist with visitor and contractor sign-in processes as assigned. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed. Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, access activity, and maintenance or security-related concerns, helping to deter unauthorized activity. Minimum Requirements: At least two years of security-related experience is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred. Guard card is required. Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
