The Goddard School is looking for energetic and attentive part-time Floaters/Resource Teachers to join their premier preschool in Royersford, PA . These are Direct Hire positions with the school Part‑time; Monday – Friday; year‑round employment Must be willing to work with all age groups; 6‑weeks to 5‑years‑old Salary $15.00-$16.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience Job Responsibilities Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children Responsible for the planning and implementation of age‑appropriate activities and curriculum as well as the maintenance of educational portfolios Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities Maintain a clean and organized classroom Monitor and ensure the well‑being of each child in your care Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education Qualifications Must be least 18 years old REQUIRED Education: High School diploma or GED REQUIRED Experience: Working with children 5‑years‑old and younger – babysitting and nannying experience OK! Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations – for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib Must meet background check eligibility Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
