Pacific Facility Solutions is seeking a dedicated Maintenance and Carpentry Specialist to join our team in Bellingham, WA. The role includes on-call responsibilities and the opportunity for overtime. Daily onsite assignments are a standard part of the schedule.WHAT YOU'LL DO DAILY:As a Maintenance and Carpentry Specialist, you will spend your days performing general facility maintenance and custom welding and fabrication. You will handle tile and flooring installations, as well as sheetrock repairs, painting, and patching. Providing customer-facing service will be an important aspect of your role. Most assignments will be completed independently with minimal supervision, though you will occasionally work alongside other skilled trades professionals on larger projects.What We Need From You:A journeyman carpenter or finisher, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial construction5+ years of experience in carpentry3+ years of experience in general maintenance/handyman roles3+ years of experience in painting/patchingExperience in installing wall protection (FRP/Acrovyn)Proficiency in framing windows, doors, closets, and other wood or metal structuresAbility to join and cut wood or other materialsExperienced with power toolsAbility to install cabinetry, flooring, crown molding, and trimProficiency in drywall installation, mudding, and taping, capable of providing a commercial-grade finishFamiliarity with commercial/residential renovation and TI buildoutsAbility to read blueprints and interpret architectural and structural specificationsKnowledge of OSHA and WA state, city, county, and building codesComfortable working in medical and hospital environmentsGeneral computer literacyPreferred:Tile installation experienceFlooring expertiseCommercial facility repair familiarityABOUT US:Pacific Facility Solutions is led by a team with more than 100 years of combined experience in commercial facility maintenance, construction, and project management.
