Inside Sales Representative

Are you energetic, customer-focused, and driven by results? Phillips Pet Food & Supplies is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to help drive revenue growth and strengthen customer relationships through proactive sales outreach and exceptional service.

In this role, you will engage with customers through phone calls, email, and digital communication channels to identify needs, promote products and specials, and support business growth. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure customer success while maintaining accurate customer records and identifying opportunities to improve sales performance. Success in this position requires strong communication skills, resilience, organization, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Sales Outreach & Customer Engagement

• Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly outreach and engagement goals.
• Proactively contact customers via phone, email, social media, and other communication channels.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional and responsive service.
• Execute sales campaigns and promotional blitzes to drive revenue growth.
• Present product information and recommendations that align with customer needs.
• Continuously develop product knowledge and stay informed on industry and competitor trends.

CRM & Sales Operations

• Maintain accurate customer records and activity tracking in Salesforce.
• Utilize AS400 to review inventory, process orders, verify shipments, and support customer inquiries.
• Analyze sales performance and customer data using Salesforce and Power BI to identify growth opportunities.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to support sales strategies.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Partner with the New Account Coordinator during customer onboarding and serve as an initial point of contact for new accounts.
• Work closely with the Inside Sales Manager and team members to enhance sales processes and customer engagement strategies.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Operations, and other departments to improve product flow and overall customer experience.
• Participate in business reviews and contribute ideas for improving efficiency and service levels.

Customer Experience & Problem Resolution

• Respond to customer questions and concerns with urgency and professionalism.
• Deliver exceptional service through proactive communication and follow-up.
• Maintain a positive, solutions-oriented approach in all customer and team interactions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Recent college graduates and candidates with sales experience are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in inside sales, outside sales, customer service, or account management preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls and emails.
• Reliable transportation required.
