job summary:
The Manufacturing Technician II performs manufacturing, assembly, testing, and verification activities for single-use technologies and related control systems within a regulated production environment. This role contributes to business performance by ensuring product quality, schedule adherence, operational efficiency, and right-first-time execution across manufacturing processes. The position maintains compliance with GMP, safety, and documentation requirements while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional production objectives.

responsibilities:

• Build, test, program, and troubleshoot single-use technologies, control systems, transmitters, and Mass Flow Controller Assemblies.
• Stage systems for integration, validation, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), teardown, and final quality inspection.
• Execute manufacturing and testing activities in strict accordance with SOPs, work instructions, and production schedules.
• Accurately complete travelers, batch records, and compliance documentation in alignment with GMP and data integrity standards.
• Utilize hand tools and electrical test equipment to resolve routine production issues, non-conformances, and equipment repairs.
• Partner with engineering, validation, and quality teams to support continuous improvement and right-first-time execution.

 
qualifications:
Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ year of manufacturing, production, assembly, or equipment testing experience.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret work instructions, SOPs, schematics, layout drawings, and BOMs.
• Experience using hand tools and electrical test equipment for mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Strong physical capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs unassisted (30 lbs assisted).

Preferred:

• Experience in a GMP-regulated biotech or pharmaceutical environment.
• Knowledge of single-use technologies, industrial control systems, or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Agile).
